Last Friday, Thriller and her dad had lunch at her favorite café which is at Sydney University’s Camden Campus where Ag Science and Vet students get practical hands-on experience with farm animals.
After leaving the café at the Uni, and walking back to the car, otherwise known as Thriller’s “mobile kennel”, the venerable Miss started pulling sideways. She had seen another Black Newfoundland paralleling us about 30-feet away. Thriller became most keen, pulling ever-harder sideways eager to get over to her Newfound friend, and said friend was likewise pulling away from the old bloke with it trying to come over to Thriller. As the old man with the other Newfoundland wasn’t allowing his charge to mingle with Thriller, I felt it prudent to do likewise lest there may be a reason why his Black Newfoundland should not enjoy a meet-and-greet with my Newfoundland. Then Thriller suddenly lost interest in the other Newfie as Thriller’s Newfound friend inexplicably vanished when reflective glass gave way to non-reflective brick!
